Our client is a highly regarded hotel group in East Cork and we are currently recruiting an experienced and commercially focused Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality sales professional looking for a role with genuine flexibility, a strong work-life balance and an employer with excellent staff retention.

The role can be worked over four days per week, with one day working from home, and offers flexible working hours. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of the sales and marketing strategy while working closely with the senior management team to drive business across Corporate, MICE, Group, Leisure and Weddings.

The position also has responsibility for supporting sales activity across a sister property, which operates as a premium venue for weddings, groups and private events.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts and implementing a targeted sales and marketing strategy across key market segments.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing an annual sales and marketing strategy across Corporate, MICE, Group and Leisure markets.
Identifying, targeting and converting new business opportunities.
Managing and developing existing client accounts.
Working closely with the Revenue Manager on corporate rates, group proposals and event business.
Conducting client meetings, sales calls, site inspections and familiarisation visits.
Representing the hotels at trade shows, networking events and relevant industry events.
Supporting the Weddings & Events team with proposals, show-arounds and client follow-up when required.
Managing print and marketing assets including brochures, menus and signage.
Working closely with Revenue, Reservations, Events and Marketing teams.
Monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
Maintaining accurate CRM records and providing regular sales reports and forecasts.
Managing relationships with external marketing agencies, including social media and digital/SEO providers.
About You

We are looking for someone with:

3+ years’ experience in hospitality, ideally within hotel sales, business development or a similar commercial role.
A proven track record of generating new business, managing accounts and achieving revenue targets.
Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Experience working with external marketing agencies.
Experience using CRM and PMS systems.
A commercially focused, proactive and results-driven approach.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Experience within a four- or five-star hospitality environment is desirable.
A full clean driving licence and access to your own transport.
Ideally, someone based in or within commuting distance of East Cork.
