Recruitment Specialist
Dublin, Cork or Limerick
Our client, with offices in Cork, Limerick & Dublin seek an experienced Recruitment Specialist (Professional Services/Construction) to join the team in a 20 hour a week hybrid/remote role.
As long as you are based in Ireland and can travel one of their Irish offices once or twice per week, there will be flexibility as to where the role is done.
The salary range of 40k – 58k is based on full time so this will be prorated for the 20 hours per week.
This role is to support a senior recruitment specialist who is at capacity. Ideally this person would assist with sourcing candidates and manage the sourcing and recruitment piece up until screen call/interview stage.
It would be ideal if the person was understanding on the engineering industry or has had some exposure to it.
Your role will include sourcing and attracting niche talent (engineers, project managers, consultants) across Ireland and UK via sourcing/networking to screening, interviewing, placing, and supporting candidates, while also building client relationships, understanding industry needs, and driving business growth in the specific construction/professional industry. Key duties include sourcing across job boards/social media, conducting in-depth interviews, ensuring compliance (e.g., Safe Pass) and managing client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Management: Source, screen, interview, shortlist, check references, and make offers for roles like engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, project managers, and consultants.
Client Relationship Management: Develop new business, visit clients, understand their operational needs, present services, and maintain strong relationships.
Sourcing & Marketing: Write compelling job ads, post on relevant platforms (LinkedIn, job boards), network actively (phone, face-to-face), and build talent pipelines.
Industry Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of construction/professional services market trends, specific roles, and necessary certifications (e.g., Safe Pass).
Process & Compliance: Oversee the entire recruitment process, ensure seamless candidate/client experience, handle administration, and manage temp worker compliance.
Sales & Targets: Work towards KPIs, revenue goals, and business development targets for the sector.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven full-cycle recruitment experience (agency or in-house).
Strong understanding of the Construction & Professional Services sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proactive, urgent, and target-driven.
Competent using LinkedIn for recruiters
Experience with ATS/CRM systems & recruitment marketing.
