
Project Delivery Manager
Dublin - Hybrid
Our Dublin 2 client seeks a Head of Ops to join the team to lead a team of Project Managers who are managing individual projects. You will mentor and support your team ensuring excellent quality and standards. You will apply strategic, logistical and organised thinking across all aspects of the projects
You will be required to work from their Dublin 2 based office 2-3 days per week.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance to Project Managers, ensuring excellence across all sectors.
Monitor emerging trends to drive continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong networks with clients, subject bodies, and specialist consultants.
Client Liaison & Relationship Management
Act as a senior representative in key client meetings, ensuring satisfaction and responsiveness to evolving needs.
Proactively troubleshoot challenges, anticipate client requirements, and adapt project delivery accordingly.
Strengthen long-term partnerships
Strategic & Senior Leadership
Core member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with Heads of Departments, CEO, and CSO to shape agency strategy.
Drive the development of new programme concepts and approaches in response to industry trends and client needs.
Foster a culture of innovation, identifying opportunities for growth, tenders, and award applications.
Maintain foresight to mitigate risks and ensure long-term project success.
Team Leadership & Project Delivery
Oversee a dynamic team of 7-14 Project Managers, providing mentorship, structure, and clear expectations.
Oversee workload distribution and resource allocation to ensure smooth execution.
Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are optimally deployed.
Set clear performance expectations, fostering professional growth and high standards.
Ensure smooth cross-department collaboration
Operational & Financial Control
Own project budgets, ensuring financial discipline, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to financial targets.
Oversee procurement processes, securing value for money and identifying economies of scale.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and consultants to support high-quality project delivery.
Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience working with clients and/or stakeholders
3-5 years’ experience managing a team
Excellent leadership and people skills
Excellent logistical, strategic and organisational skills
Ability to work and think at a fast pace, and on different projects simultaneously
Creative, driven and ambitious
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: €70,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
