Job Description:
Our Mallow based client seeks a HR Administrator/Specialist to join their team.
If you have the capacity to work full time hours, there is work for that but also, if you are seeking more flexibility, once you can work 25 hours per week, we are very open to reviewing your CV.
You will provide Human Resources support across the organisation, working closely with the Human Resources Manager and key colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver general HR support across all business units, in line with company policies and employment legislation
Maintain accurate employee records and personal information using the Human Resources Information System, and liaise with payroll as required
Prepare and issue contracts of employment and support compliance with employment law
Administer employee leave (annual, sick, family leave) and provide support on employee wellbeing programmes
Assist with Learning & Development initiatives
Assist with employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary processes
Support the development, implementation, and review of HR policies, procedures, and systems, including data protection compliance
Prepare HR reports and workforce data (such as headcount and policy reviews)
Support recruitment and selection activities, including advertising roles, coordinating interviews, and managing recruitment documentation
Assist with onboarding and induction of new employees
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and wider HR projects across the company
About You
A third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources role
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
Experience supporting Learning and Development initiatives would be a strong advantage
High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Confident in building effective working relationships across teams, with a strong team-focused approach
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A strong understanding of confidentiality and professional discretion
Knowledge of Learning and Development and data protection regulations is an advantage
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is an advantage
Full driving licence desirable
