Job Description:

Our client, a rapidly growing Irish SaaS company, is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Head of Finance to join their leadership team during an exciting phase of growth and international expansion.

This is a senior strategic role offering the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and leadership team, helping to scale the business, strengthen financial operations, and support future funding and growth plans. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, reporting, forecasting and operational decision-making as the company continues to scale across Ireland, the UK and international markets.

This position offers a clear pathway to CFO as the business grows.

The Role

The Head of Finance will take ownership of the finance function end-to-end, ensuring robust financial reporting, strong commercial insight and scalable financial processes suitable for a high-growth SaaS environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to support ARR growth, improve financial visibility, manage cash flow and runway planning, and help prepare the business for future investment and international scaling.

Key Responsibilities

Lead monthly and quarterly management reporting and board reporting
Develop and maintain SaaS KPI reporting including ARR, NRR, churn, LTV, ACV and growth metrics
Build and maintain detailed cash flow forecasting and financial models
Manage revenue recognition processes across subscription and project revenue
Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and scenario planning
Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
Strengthen financial controls and reporting processes
Support investor reporting, due diligence preparation and funding activities
Manage banking relationships and treasury activities
Drive working capital and debtor management
Build and develop the finance function as the company grows
Partner with the CEO and leadership team on commercial and operational strategy
Candidate Profile

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Approximately 10 years’ post-qualified finance experience
Strong background within SaaS, technology or recurring revenue businesses
Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments
Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and commercial finance
Hands-on approach with excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
Comfortable working closely with founders, senior leadership and boards
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting fundraising, scaling or international expansion advantageous
