HR Manager
Our client with offices in Cork, Limerick & Dublin (hub is in Mahon, Cork) seeks a proactive and people-focused HR Manager to join their dynamic HR team. Reporting to the People Manager (who is UK based), you’ll play a key role in shaping the people strategy, supporting leaders, and driving engagement across the group of 120 Irish based employees.
There will be some visiting of the 3 different Irish sites initially and then it’s your decision which of the 3 locations to work from sometimes but there will also be work from home opportunities once training is complete.
You will earn 40k for 3 days (24 hours work), it’s up to you how these hours are done – whether it’s 3 fuller days or a 4.5 mornings per week.
Up to now, the HR function has been managed by the UK head office but as the Irish team have gone 100+, there is a need to bring a HR presence to Ireland. It’s a great opportunity for you to come in, put some structure around what has been done to date, set up some systems around performance reviews, salary reviews, some benchmarking. You will be working closely with several unit managers and take the HR piece off each of their plates.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Partnering with managers to address people-related challenges and provide expert HR guidance.
Supporting case management, restructures, succession planning, and change initiatives.
Delivering tailored HR solutions to improve team performance and productivity.
Building strong relationships across the business to influence and support positive outcomes.
Acting as a key point of contact for HR expertise, particularly in complex case management.
Coaching leaders to enhance business efficiency and employee experience.
Driving engagement and evaluating workforce needs in line with business goals.
Providing HR system support and ensuring accurate data management.
What We’re Looking For:
CIPD qualification (or equivalent) preferred, or proven experience in a similar HR Advisor role.
Experience supporting managers with people initiatives and change management.
Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Highly organised, proactive, and confident working independently and collaboratively
